Toronto Sprouts on Hiatus

Today, Toronto Sprouts sent out a message to "loyal fans and people who just like our sprouts" to announce that they are now on hiatus until sometime in the fall.

They write: "At the beginning of July, Toronto Sprouts relocated our organic sprout farm to a greenhouse facility outside of the city. We faced many challenges along the way, and instead of finding solutions we found more challenges. These challenges have proven to be insurmountable and we are presently in legal conflict with the greenhouse facility. As of today, August 7, 2009, Toronto Sprouts has decided to stop production until we successfully replant our urban farm here in Toronto." For the moment, their sprouts are available at Organics On Bloor (468 Bloor West, 416-538-1333).
