Taste of... Toronto Neigbourhood Food Festivals 2009

Well, the summer is upon us, and that means every corner of Toronto is trying to lure us with festivals celebrating the food of one world culture or another.

Here's a list of the ones I can think of, not counting special events at Harbourfront, Yonge-Dundas Square, and so on. If you can think of others, let me know.

• Friday to Sunday, June 19 to 21: Taste of Little Italy (College from Bathurst to Shaw)
• Sunday, June 21: Summer Solstice Street Festival (St. Joseph from St. Nicholas to Yonge)
• Saturday & Sunday, June 27 & 28: Taste of Asia (Kennedy & Steeles)
• Friday to Sunday, July 3 to 5: Taste of Lawrence (Lawrence East from Warden to Pharmacy)
• Saturday & Sunday, July 4 & 5: Corso Italia Toronto Fiesta (St. Clair from Dufferin to Lansdowne)
• Sunday, July 12: Salsa on St. Clair Street Festival (St. Clair from Winona to Christie)
• Friday to Sunday, August 7 to 9: Taste of the Danforth (Danforth from Broadview to Dewhurst)
• Saturday & Sunday, August 22 & 23: TD Canada Trust Festival of South Asia (Gerrard East from Greenwood to Coxwell)
• Saturday & Sunday, September 12 & 13: Taste of the Kingsway (Bloor West from Prince Edward Drive to Montgomery Road)
• Friday to Sunday, September 18 to 20: Toronto Ukrainian Festival (Bloor West from Jane to Runnymede)
• Saturday & Sunday, September 19 & 20: Roncesvalles Polish Festival (Roncesvalles Village)
